Skiing our region for the very first time?
We would be delighted to show you the best slopes, most beautiful mountain views and friendliest alpine huts.
Nina will accompany you in groups of three to ten people to the ski areas of Hochfügen & Hochzillertal, where upwards of 160 km of ski slopes await you.
If you wish, she would also be more than happy to hurtle down the original "Stephan Eberharter Gold Hill" with you as well.
We wish you hour upon wonderful hour spent out on our slopes.
Right next to the Hochfügen car park, near the first ticket office, begins Hochfügen's nine kilometers-long, beautifully situated alpine ski trail.
You will set out in the direction of Gamsstein (Loassattel). And after all the exertion of cross-country skiing, you will have an opportunity to enjoy a refreshment stop at warm, cozy Alpengasthof Loas.
Because of Hochfügen's elevation, snow conditions on the ski trail are always reliable. There is no charge to use the trail.
The 1.5 km long floodlit toboggan run in Hochfügen promises all kinds of fun for youngsters and adults alike.
Nature-lovers can rent out sleds from various businesses located at the car park in Hochfügen, then set out to explore the winter countryside of Hochfügen on foot.
Numerous refreshment opportunities also await at the end of the sledding run. The top of the run is not reachable by lift.
The most attractive sledding run in Zillertal! Feel the eternal appeal of the night and that cool sensation of speed on two blades.
Let the original Toboggan Express tow you from the Goglhof to the start of the sledding run. Glide along a 3 km-long, floodlit and superbly maintained natural run (serviced by snowmaking equipment), all the way back down into the valley below.
The ice rink at Erlebnistherme Fügen is open daily for the enjoyment of big and small, between 2 and 9pm.
Experience the Zillertal countryside out on a winter hike.
Hike and stroll along 50 km of outstandingly maintained winter hiking paths. Allow your spirits to soar as free as a bird, breathe in the fresh mountain air and soak in the magnificent views of the Zillertal Alps.
Additional information about our winter hiking paths is available at the reception desk.
Our certified wellness & vitality trainer, Nina, will also have some great tips for you.
Enjoy a snowshoe hike amid pristine countryside, leaving the outside world far behind, collecting an array of memorable impressions of Zillertal's snowy alpine paradise away from the groomed slopes.
No experience is necessary when it comes to snowshoeing. An experience that everyone is welcome and able to enjoy. We will show you animal tracks and explain how these creatures manage to survive through the long, cold winter. With a little bit of luck, you might even see a deer or a snow rabbit.
